| Hell City that is in Phoenix Arizona--It is one of the biggest tattoo conventions in the U.S. and I will be getting tattooed by Kelly Gormley- http://home.comcast.net/~supercooltattoo/ from Addictive Ink in Albuquerque NM. My wife and I will both be entering into competitions. My wife will be entering for best medium color and I will be going for best cover up and best large color and hopefull best of show. While we are out there we will be starting my other sleeve which will consist of a grizzled old koi fish with scars and a fish hook dangling from its mouth and a dragon and a female ninja who will resemble my wife. Here is a link to the convention--- http://hellcitytattoofest.com/index.cfm And here are some new pictures of my sleeve that got jacked by a really crappy artist and now are fixed by one of the best in the biz--    He still isn't finished with the angel he still needs to finish the wings. I decided to go with a space theme to cover up the stuff on the back of my arm and above the angel we are going to put galaxy that has been dubbed the eye of God ( because it looks like a huge eye in space --very cool) I am kind of upset because the back of my arm was supposed to be a 2 bridges --one going into a skulls mouth and another leading to the foot of Christ, but because the first artist screwed it up soooo bad there was really no fixing it. To see what I am reffering to please scroll down to a coouple entries ago. Those photos were right after it was done but after it healed I lost a ton of ink and noticed that all the lines were shakey and everything was extrewmely flat. Anyways to say the least I am extremely happy with what kelly did and in a few days I will post up what he did on my wife's back--a sparrow holding a rose in its beak which is also a cover up of a small daisy.

| My dear grandmother(Momo) passed away on March 5th. She was 74 and lived an amazing life. I was and still am very sad, but one thing that keeps my hopes up is that I know I will see her again in Heaven. She went her whole life proving doctors wrong she was born with severe scoliosis(sp?) and the doctors told her that she would never be able to have children. Well she had 3 including my Mom. Also because of her condition she didn't have full use of her lungs and on top of that she fell about 25 years ago and collapsed one of her lungs. After that the doctors gave her 10 years to live--well that was 25 years ago. She would then be on oxygen equipment for the rest of her life, which eventually led to a treach also. These last years she was always in and out of the hospital and this last time she developed staph infection that spread very quickly and eventually had her surviving machines. I will miss her very much but only for a little while. She was the most elegant woman I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, through all of her medical issues she never complained...I honestly cant ever remember her complaining about anything. Her and my grandfather (Pa Pa) had one of the most beautiful marriages I have ever witnessed. He tended to every need she ever had and also without complaining. If my marriage turns out half as good as theirs was it would be perfect. I won't say good bye, just see you later--you were loved immensely and will be missed greatly. | | |
| Ok I guess I haven't really been keeping up with this as much as I should lol. I received orders to go to Japan a couple months ago. The job was going to be doing postal duty at Kadena AFB I got all excited and accepted them b/c I have always wanted to go to Japan. Little did I know that I was gonna be deployed most of the time I would be there. Since it is my first enlistment I had the right to turn the orders down. I did turn them down but not because of being deployed but because I just didn't feel it would be fair to my wife to yank her out of the states and then leave her in a foreign country all by herself. Oh well I have to be a family man before I am military. So now the plan is to move back to St.Louis and get into an apprenticeship program for heavy equipment operator. My St.Louis Trip---- By far I have to say that it was not one of my best trips home . We started out by getting about 2 hours outside of Albuquerque when I get pulled over by a state trooper for going 8 over the speed limit. Cop was a total jerk and informed me that there would be speed traps every 10 miles for pretty much my whole course. He didn't lie there were cops every single freakin 10 miles, so we had to go the limit the whole way which really sucked because it took forever--usually I can make the trip in about 12 hours this time it took us about 17. So we finally arrive at my mom's house which was pretty cool time. While we were there we attended a wine tasting party. It was pretty funny b/c there were alot of older people there and they were playing little games to win prizes and stuff like who could gift wrap a present faster and stuff. So the MC thinks he is gonna make a joke and ask if any one can breakdance, and I'm all like heck yeah I can, and so I went to the dance floor and started breaking and everyone thought it was great lol. Re3grdless I won a bottle of really expensive champaign and a fancy corkscrew. So then we go to my dad's house--that's when it got kinda bad-- the second day we were there it started sleeting out. I didn't think it was gonna get that bad so we took my srt out--big mistake--summer high performance tires and ice don't mix lol. Ended up trashing my car getting it stuck and caking my cold air intake with ice and mud and like every warning light that could possibly come on did. Then when we finally slid into the driveway we are all tired and ready to curl up in our warm bed and go to sleep--NOT-- the power went out and we had no heat....for the rest of the time we were there. Yeah so for like the last 3 days we were barely able to sleep, had no showers and then we had to drive back 1000 miles. So we are finally on our way back we get a few hours out side StL and we hit dead stop traffic so we sit there for like a few hours then were moving YEAAA. Then we cross over the border to my favorite state OK (not) then we get stuck in traffic for like 10 hours. After that we were finally on our way--yep it took a little over 24 hrs to make a 12 hour trip. Thats all for now Jeff | | |
| Wow I gotta start keeping up with this, NEwayz I will be leaving to go to St.Louis tommorow!!!WOOOHOO!!! Me and the wife will be driving the mean little beast of a neon--can't wait to get to sea level and 93 oct gas car gonna be runnin so strong!! And yeah its gonna be cool to see my family too LOL I can't believe that I will be actually living there in less than a year I'ts gonna be soo cool. I have since gotten more ink done--I got the violator peice completed with color and now have the bottom part of the sleeve outlined(still need to post more pics) now I just have to fill in the middle and back side of my arm and I will be done for a while cuz as much as I like ink I like to train and I haven't been able to really train steadily since I have taken on this project. Well that seems to be all the updatin I have for no---PEACE | | |
